A town ravaged by drought. Noemí, an introverted teenager, takes care of her sick father, Benjamín, with the help of her aunt Romina, a solitary and bald woman. However, for Noemí, her father is not the devout leader everyone believes him to be, and one morning, when he chokes on a pill, Noemí lets him die. After his death, two miracles occur: the rain returns, and Romina regains her hair. The community, with renewed faith, begins a beatification campaign. Romina flourishes as the bearer of the miracle, while Noemí becomes trapped in the collective hysteria. The arrival of Father Fabio, a skeptical investigator, heightens tensions, especially when an unexpected closeness develops between him and Noemí. Tormented by guilt and Benjamín's vengeful spirit, Noemí faces the pressure of a community that sees her as a threat. Changes in her body and Fabio’s questions threaten to reveal a dark secret: Noemí is pregnant, and the child she’s expecting is also her brother.
